Please join us for a presentation for K12 / Aventa Advanced Placement® students. We will be presenting information on topics including; registering for the AP Exam, preparing for the exam, study skills, K12/Aventa resources and The College Board® resources for AP students.

We invite all students, parents, mentors and learning coaches to attend this important presentation. This event will be held live on all three dates to allow participants in various time zones to attend. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Webinar In Partnership with District Administration

The Changing Face of Online Learning
Tuesday 2/28 @ 2PM

Increasingly, school districts adopt online learning to meet one need and quickly find new opportunities to expand the initiative to help other students. That’s the changing nature of online learning, exemplified in the experience at Spotsylvania County Public Schools in Virginia. Join us for a case study examining how Spotsylvania began using Aventa Learning by K12 for credit recovery in an alternative school and soon expanded its use for a variety of purposes in all five of its high schools.

Topics to be covered include:

  • How teachers can customize online courses for individual students
  • Using online courses in a blended model with classroom teachers
  • How online courses used for credit recovery can reduce the need for summer school
  • Moving online courses beyond credit recovery to help all students take classes that don’t fit in their schedule, or AP courses not offered by the school

K¹²'s Leadership Workshop Series - Success in Every Sense

Everyone has their own sense of what success means. Invite your students to hear from some amazing speakers who have achieved success in areas that affect all five of our senses.

Beth Mooney, from the successful non-profit organization Learning to Lead, will moderate the live sessions. Each session will feature an interview (either live or previously recorded) between the speaker and K¹² students, followed by a discussion to help you explore your inner leadership skills.
